PRODUCTS FEATURED:

  • Pigma Micron 02, Black
  • Gelly Roll Stardust, Clear Star
  • Koi Coloring Brush pen, Fuchsia
  • A6 Mixed Media Paper

OPTIONAL:

  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Glass of water
  • Cotton swab or brush

OVERVIEW OF THE STEPS

  • 00:06 — Take the pencil and start sketching the flowers. Start with rough shapes to define the composition of your drawing. Then you can keep adding more details to shape the flowers.
  • 03:07 — Use the Pigma Micron to trace over the lines of your design.
  • 08:09 — Erase all pencil lines.
  • 08:21 — Grab your Pigma Micron again and add details and light shadows.
  • 11:11 — Use the Koi Brush Pen to apply color. Start in the middle of the flowers and leave the end of the leaves white.
  • 11:24 — Take a wet cotton swab or brush and use it to create a watercolor effect. This will give your work more depth and a soft color transition from dark to light.
  • 14:10 — Let dry thoroughly and go back with your Koi Brush Pen to add some more color. This will give a shadow effect, creating more depth.
  • 14:33 — Again, use a wet cotton swab to blend the color.
  • 15:44 — Let it dry thoroughly again and go back with your Pigma Micron to add some more contrast.
  • 16:12 — Use the Gelly Roll Stardust Clear Star to apply details for a subtle glitter effect.
